zerozero+totalstudio, Presov (SK)
zerozero is a collaboration of two architectural studios, founded by Irakli Eristavi and Martin Jančok in 2002. Based in Prešov and Bratislava, Totalstudio was established in 2008 by Aleš Šedivec and Barbara Zavarská. Active criticism is the driving force behind their ambition of applying experimental and innovative approaches in the realm of the traditional architectural practice. They are also involved in teaching at the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Technical University Košice and the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. Their most important realizations include CMYK, a residential complex of 190 dwelling units in Prešov built between 2002 and 2007; and Sideways, an installation in the pavilion of Czech and Slovak Republic presented at the 11th Venice Architecture Biennale in 2008.
